The Locust score 10/10 from NME.com!

Rating: 10/10

Either their entire eight-year career is an elaborate in-joke or San Diego sickoids The Locust are congenitally insane. Both, we hope. Anyway, these four art-school misfits are avatars of the Napalm Death-stealing-Devo's-dinner-money screamo movement, selling a scarcely-credible 20,000 copies of their first album, wearing matching camo bug outfits, once releasing an EP on puddle-shaped vinyl and never, ever writing a song longer than 60 seconds. So this second LP crams 23 shards of ultra-abrasive noise (sample song titles: 'Anything Jesus Does, I Can Do Better', 'The Half-Eaten Sausage Will See You In His Office') into 21 minutes of brain-shrivelling math-metal. They even print the lyrics on the sleeve, not that you'd ever be able to read along with them. Genius.
