Chicago Tribune: "Turbonegro a blast of showy rock goodness"

If you're one of those people who admires TV shows like "Queer Eye for the Straight Guy" and "Will & Grace" for their openly gay themes, I've got one word for you: Turbonegro! About 10 years ago, this predominately gay Norwegian sextet burst into the macho world of metallic hard-rock and began trashing it with makeup, unprintable stage antics, crassly homo-erotic lyrics and hair-raising, exhilarating, ferociously tuneful music. Turbonegro's latest CD, "Scandinavian Leather" (Burning Heart), is a masterpiece of ear-grabbing glam that's as feral as piranha, as grandly ambitious as classic Alice Cooper and as darkly infectious as the plague.
