Social Distortion Announces North American Tour Dates
Influential Southern California rock 'n' roll band Social Distortion have announced a series of performances throughout North America in support of their celebrated album Hard Times and Nursery Rhymes. The band will be playing several festivals, a triumphant hometown show with North Carolina honky-tonk rockers The Avett Brothers, and have been invited to open a series of nights for popular rockers Foo Fighters.
Social Distortion will also be playing a string of headlining shows with acclaimed troubadour Chuck Ragan (former singer for Hot Water Music), Off With Their Heads, and Suedehead.
Formed in 1979 in the working class Southern California suburb of Fullerton, Social Distortion forged a revitalized rock 'n' roll style merging outlaw country, punk and swaggering blues rock. It is a sound that has not only survived but flourished, with the band's latest album proving their highest charting so far and USA Today calling the veteran band "as intense as ever."
