Social Distortion Announce Fall 2012 Tour
Beloved influential Southern California rock 'n' roll band Social Distortion have just announced a series of North American live dates in further support of their latest album Hard Times and Nursery Rhymes. Beginning in Chicago on October 11th, the band will be performing shows with alt-country Canadian recording artist Lindi Ortega and Atlanta rockers The Biters. Since their formation in 1979 in the working class Southern California suburb of Fullerton, Social Distortion have a recharged rock 'n' roll sound merging outlaw country, classic punk and swaggering blues. The band's latest release Hard Times and Nursery Rhymes has been rousing success with critics and fans alike. The album marked the group's highest chart position thus far entering the Billboard 200 at #4.
