Epitaph Records is an independent record label founded in Los Angeles by Bad Religion guitarist Brett Gurewitz. With early releases by a variety of punk heavyweights, Epitaph spawned the 90s punk explosion. From the beginning, Epitaph has been a firm believer in its "artist comes first" philosophy and is a full-service label to the musicians on its diverse and creative roster. Along the way, Epitaph proudly launched its sister label ANTI-, representing unique and distinguished artists. Since 1995 the label has had a European company to coordinate all promotion, sales, and marketing efforts in mainland Europe and the UK.     

Position Summary  

Epitaph Europe is looking for a Promotion Intern Europe. The candidate will be based in Europe, with the ability to work remotely. The promotion intern will be a part of the European promotion team and assist/support the two European Promotion managers. Excellent communication and analytical skills, an international perspective, and a passion for music are key for this position. Excellent verbal and written communication in the English language is essential.  Due to Dutch employment law, we can only consider applicants who are currently enrolled in school or university and are completing this internship as part of their program.

Responsibilities 

  • Supporting the promotion managers in daily tasks 
  • Monitoring of media coverage on releases/tours 
  • Collecting, maintaining, and archiving promo results and creating promo updates 
  • Managing tour interview and guestlist requests 
  • Assist with scheduling interviews. 
  • Building and updating media lists and databases. 
  • Assisting in administrative duties. 

 

Requirements:  

The ideal candidate will possess: 

  • Ability to multi-task 
  • Good computer and administrative skills in MS Office 
  • Be pro-active, have an eye for detail, and work with accuracy. 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication in English language 
  • Passion for music 
  • Ability to work remotely. 
  • Willing to work in an international environment. 
  • Must be a current student at an accredited school or university.
