Entertainment Weekly reviews the new Dropkick Murphys record

If someone made a guy flick about a bunch of close-knit, good-hearted, working-class fellas, Blackout could be the soundtrack. Bearntown's Dropkick Murphys have jammed this 14-track CD (a bonus disc contains two live cuts and a video) with disheveled, rambunctious, Celtic-tinged punk rock teeming with raggedy, sweaty earnestness. With themes ranging from blue-collar exploitation ("Worker's Song") to, um, love ("Kiss Me I'm #!@*faced," which has urchinlike charm), the album is like a rawer, truer The Brothers McMullen.
