Teenage Wrist - A Different Shine 12" EP (Silver Smoke)
A Different Shine marks a new era for Teenage Wrist, delivering their first new music since 2023’s Still Love. Produced by Ken Andrews (Failure), the EP fuses dreamy indie-rock and grunge elements into a heavier, more adventurous evolution of the band's alt-rock sound.
Collaborating closely with Andrews, members Marshall Gallagher and Anthony Salazar incorporate left-of-center rock melodies and harmonies across the three tracks, spanning from the heavy groove of opening track “Wishing Well” to the dreamy melodies and pummeling crashes of “Don’t Mind.”
Track list:
Side A
1. Wishing Well
2. Twist My Tongue
3. Don’t Mind
Side B
1. Wishing Well (Instrumental)
2. Twist My Tongue (Instrumental)
3. Don’t Mind (Instrumental)
