"A record is a story that you tell. You have someone's undivided attention to get a meaning and a message across. Music is an opportunity."

Vocalist Keaton Piece assets the mantra of Too Close To Touch, a quintet from Lexington, Kentucky who have been playing together since 2012. Too Close To Touch also includes bassist Travis Moore, drummer Kenneth Downey, plus guitarists Mason Marble and Thomas Kidd write songs to make impact. Every transition, word, and note is meticulously placed to keep the listener entranced. Too Close To Touch is consistent in all 4-tracks, with its soaring vocals and guttural screams, vivid lyrical content and pop-ready melodies. Just as important to the band is their aesthetic. Taking cues from the 1975, Walk The Moon and the Neighbourhood, they’ve refined it to a look that’s mixes indie and classic cool, all while remaining 100-percent them. The EP was produced by Erik Ron (Get Scared, Hands Like Houses, Panic! At The Disco).

Too Close To Touch recently wrapped up a tour run with likeminded band Emarosa and have plans to play in support of the EP. This is just the beginning for Too Close To Touch. Be on the lookout for details on their debut full length, due in 2015.
