Thursday Extends Their 'Common Existence' Tour
Influential rockers Thursday have announced an extension of their 2009 Common Existence Tour that will include a December run with Dillinger Escape Plan, Fake Problems and Endless Hallway supporting.
The Jersey based sextet recently kicked off their headlining US tour to sell-out crowds along the east coast where they "certainly provided rewards for the faithful" (href="http://spin.com/articles/thursday-open-us-tour-sweatbox">SPIN.com>). The band's current leg of the tour will include a rare, album performance of their fan favorite release, War All The Time, in Los Angeles on Oct 10 and their classic Full Collapse in New York City on Oct 25.
Thursday continue their vigorous, must-see live trek across the US in support of the recently released Digital Deluxe Edition of their fifth studio album, Common Existence, which includes an additional five songs. Described as "a monster rebirth" (Revolver), "the band's densest, most accomplished album to date" (AV Club), "the metaphorical cherry on top of a continually solid creative output" (Alternative Press) and "the band's finest effort" (Metromix.com), Common Existence has cemented itself as 2009's best rock releases.
