Teenage Wrist Premiere Video For "Swallow"
Today, L.A.-based garage-rock trio Teenage Wrist share their video for “Swallow.” A new signing to Epitaph, the band includes Kamtin Mohager (bass, vocals), Marshall Gallagher (guitar, vocals), and Anthony Salazar (drums).
With its distorted colors and hazy aesthetic, the video for “Swallow” shows the band’s shoegaze-inspired sensibilities. Released as a single last month, “Swallow” was praised by Stereogum for its “lo-fi guitars, straightforward riffs, and strong drumbeat.”

Along with the previously released “Stoned, Alone,” “Swallow” has landed Teenage Wrist on the Spotify playlists New Noise, New Music Friday, and Rock United. Both tracks combine dreamy vocals and finespun melodies with harder-hitting elements, such as heavy guitar tones and visceral rhythms.
“I think those songs really set the tone for what the album is about and show the darker and more aggressive side of the band,” says Gallagher, referring to Teenage Wrist’s forthcoming full-length.
Formed in 2015, Teenage Wrist made their debut that same year with the acclaimed EP Dazed. The band recently appeared at Emo Nite Day in L.A., and will soon embark on a headlining tour of the West Coast.
