Sleepwave's Album "Broken Compass" Is Out Today

St. Petersburg, Florida rock group Sleepwave released their debut album Broken Compass TODAY on Epitaph Records.

Sleepwave is the new band from former Underoath singer Spencer Chamberlain, featuring band mate Stephen Bowman. Chamberlain and Bowman gravitated toward one another several years ago, based on their mutual appreciation of bands like Alice in Chains, Soundgarden and Filter. Broken Compass was produced by David Bendeth (Bring Me The Horizon, Of Mice & Men, All Time Low) and it combines their mutual interests as they deliver the grungy side of rock music through the lens of classic song structure and melody. Sleepwave cuts through the white noise of sound-a-like charlatans like a dull knife. Broken Compass, speaks truth to power by bucking trends and digging deeply with a creative determination all too lacking today.

Alternative Press says Broken Compass is "a direct adrenaline rush that that offers energy and melody" with a 4/5 star review. "Hard rock needs a band like this" according to Under The Gun in their 9 out of 10 star review. Sleepwave's track "Through The Looking Glass" is currently #35 on the Active Rock Charts.

Sleepwave play a handful of headlining dates in support of their debut album. Broken Compass is available for purchase at http://sleepwave.merchline.com.
