La Dispute Announce National Spring Tour
Seminal hardcore band La Dispute have announce a national spring tour in support of their upcoming LP Panorama out March 22nd via Epitaph, their first w/ the label. Kicking off April 13th in their hometown of Grand Rapids, MI and wrapping up May 7th in Seattle the twenty-one date tour will hit New York, DC, Chicago, Los Angeles and many more (full dates below). Support on the tour include Deathwish signees Gouge Away along with Chicago indie quartet Slow Mass. Tickets go on sale February 8th at 10am local time via WWW.LADISPUTE.ORG.
Panorama was produced by the band in tandem with return producer Will Yip (Quicksand, Braid, Code Orange, Nothing, Title Fight) combining jazz, rock, slowcore, noise, hardcore among other influences over the span of 10 tracks. It's a highly ambitious and deeply affecting body of work that filters narrative storytelling through a personal lens, like a set of Joan Didion essays set to music. With early support from NPR, Fader, Pitchfork, Spin among others the first two singles "ROSE QUARTZ / FULTON STREET 1" and “FOOTSTEPS AT THE POND” gave fans a glance of what is their most personal project since their breakthrough Somewhere at the Bottom of the River Between Vega and Altair.
