Hot Water Music, Green 17 Tour preview from the Aquarian.
Just coming off of a highly successful national headlining tour, Hot Water Music are bringing their compellingly intricate punk inspired sounds to The Spirit Performance
Center on March 3, along with tour mates Flogging Molly. This show is in support of the band's most recent release entitled The New What Next, which is said to easily be their finest album yet.
This album possesses the band's natural instinct for producing alluring guitar riffs and detailed melodies. With this album Hot Water Music went after new dynamics to create an expansive variety of differing tempos and emotions. The band's main
intention was to bridge the gap between their older and newer fans, and they certainly prove this flawlessly with introspective lyrics and irresistible riffs.
These Florida natives, which include Chuck Ragan and Chris Wollard on both vocals and guitar, Jason Black on bass, and George Rebelo on drums, have built a sturdy foundation of teamwork and permissiveness since the mid-'90s. After three successful albums and a brief split, the guys of Hot Water Music came back strong with a series of
split singles and by 2001 the quartet had aligned themselves with Epitaph Records. Ever since, the band has been feverishly touring and tantalizing fans with their exhilarating performances.
Their live shows embody their notorious raspy vocals and awkwardly infectious melodies, always leaving audiences scorching hot with the desire for more.
