Escape the Fate hit the road with Bullet for My Valentine and Warped 2007
Fresh off an incendiary run on the 2007 Epitaph Tour, Las Vegas-based metalcore giants Escape The Fate will resume roadwork this week when it launches a six-week U.S. tour. In advance of its just confirmed 2007 Warped Tour commitment and in support of the strongly-received 2006 debut, Dying Is Your Latest Fashion, the quintet's trek with Welsh hard rockers Bullet For My Valentine gets underway on Friday (March 30th) in Tuscon, AZ.
Recorded with Michael Baskette (Lit, Puddle of Mudd) who also helmed the group' heralded debut EP, There Is No Sympathy For The Dead Dying Is Your Latest Fashion is steered with a manic, passionate desire to wake people up. Evidenced by the earnest, angry Webs I Weave, the declarative Situations, current single, Not Good Enough For Truth In Cliche and the scorching, chaotic Reverse This Curse, Escape The Fate does just that, be it in the studio or on the stage.
Built on a fusion of sincerity and intensity, ETF' live shows and blistering soundscapes can't help but leave an impression. Yet for all the fists in the air, ETF exudes a depth absent from many of the bands currently populating the scene by taking chances, be it the unplugged touch of The Day I Left The Womb or the electronica-inspired My Apocalypse.
