Converge Unveils New Song On Spin.com; 'Axe To Fall' Pre-Order Starts Today!
In preparation for the release of their magnum opus Axe To Fall on October 20, essential hardcore pioneers Converge have debuted the title track from their forthcoming release on SPIN.com today and have launched a pre-order e-store for 2009's most anticipated hardcore-metal album.
In August Converge released the first track from Axe To Fall, href="http://stereogum.com/archives/mp3/new-converge-dark-horse_086071.html">"Dark Horse," which Stereogum praised as having "everything you could want from a Converge song -- knotty guitars, deep hardcore breakdowns, gnarled howls, and a triumphant blast of a finish -- along with an updated dark-progressive feel you'll find threaded throughout."
