Rising hardcore heroes THE GHOST INSIDE will be featured on the forthcoming cover of Alternative Press in celebration of the rock mag's AP TOUR FALL 2012, where they will take the stage for the most chilling, in-your-face live performances of the season. The tour comes on the heels of the release of the band's fan-favorite Epitaph debut, Get What You Give. The tour will also feature performances by MISS MAY I, melodic metal act LIKE MOTHS TO FLAMES, Australia’s modern metal quintet THE AMITY AFFLICTION, and technical metal up-and-comers GLASS CLOUD.

Band To Take On Warped Tour This Summer

Rising California hardcore heroes The Ghost Inside have just unleashed their brand new album, Get What You Give this June 19th. The record was produced by Jeremy Mckinnon of A Day To Remember and perfectly merges the band’s sonic ferocity and cathartic lyrics to create a work of state of the art heavy rock.

Formed in 2007, the quintet's two prior records - their full-length debut, Fury and the Fallen Ones and their breakthrough album Returners laid the groundwork for the modern hardcore masterwork that is Get What You Give. Band On Warped Tour All Summer Long

California’s most dedicated and passionate exponents of hardcore are streaming their new album Get What You Give in full, starting today. In anticipation of their June 19th release, the band also unleashed a new video for their anthemic single, “Engine 45." The explosive new track is now available for purchase via iTunes.

Get What You Give is nothing short of the band’s most dynamic and riveting material thus far, an album that emphasizes deep, personal vocals, urgent riffing and pile-driving breakdowns within the framework of their heavily melodic modern metallic hardcore. The quintet's two prior releases - the breakthrough album Returners (2010) and their first full-length, Fury and the Fallen Ones (2008) - laid down the promise and potential that has now been fully delivered with Get What You Give (produced by Jeremy Mckinnon of A Day To Remember).

The first single, “Engine 45” is a powerful hardcore anthem built for crowd participation in the live environment, where The Ghost Inside takes pride in giving all of themselves over to the crowd. "'Engine 45' deals with the struggle of addiction,” says front man Jonathan Vigil. “When it came time to shoot a video for it, we wanted that message to hit hard. We hired Drew Russ to direct it and it was his idea to use an old Eskimo fable. In the fable, the Eskimo plants a bloody knife outside of his igloo so that when a pack of wolves pass by they become so consumed with their bloodlust that they don't realize the knife is cutting their tongues, making them bleed to death. A concept that really proves how destructive and deadly addiction can be."

Epitaph Signs The Ghost Inside

Epitaph Records is proud to announce the signing of Los Angeles based heavy melodic hardcore band The Ghost Inside. Formed in 2007, the band has built a following with two previous records, Fury And The Fallen Ones and Returners, as well as their riveting live performances touring with bands such as Bring Me The Horizon, Parkway Drive and The Devil Wears Prada.

The Ghost Inside’s powerful and affecting sound merges insightful and introspective lyrics with charging drums, lightning fast riffs and devastating breakdowns. The group is currently working on their yet untitled Epitaph debut with Jeremy Mckinnon (of A Day To Remember) producing.

“Signing to Epitaph is a dream come true for me,” singer Jonathan Vigil says. “The label is home to some of my all time favorite bands. Epitaph continues to be successful while maintaining the integrity of an independent label. I really look forward to the future of The Ghost Inside and Epitaph.
