Skip The Foreplay New Album Nightlife In Stores Today

The exhilarating new band Skip The Foreplay have released their monstrously high energy new album Nightlife today, May 1st via Epitaph Records. The band have also released a new a new video for the breakout track “DJ” which perfectly captures their riveting mix of thunderous metal-core and infectious dance beats.

Skip The Foreplay, from Montreal Canada, burst on to the scene with a supremely original and thoroughly brutal cover of the hit song “Champagne Showers” by popular electro pop duo LMFAO. The reimagined version perfectly merged the original’s seductive dance floor appeal with a dose of head banging guitar fueled heaviness.

Fans will have a chance to witness the undeniable power of this up and coming band when they take their notoriously raucous live show on the road throughout the summer on the Van’s Warped Tour.

Band To Spend Summer on Warped Tour

The ground-breaking new band Skip The Foreplay are streaming their debut album, Nightlife in its entirety, starting today. The new album contains thirteen high energy tracks that alternate between technically jaw dropping metalcore, brutal Earth shaking breakdowns, hip-hop and techno instrumentation and will hit streets on May 1st through Epitaph Records.

Skip The Foreplay To Release Debut Album May 1st

The ground-breaking new band out of Montreal called Skip The Foreplay have perfected a unique and exhilarating new genre of music. The sound is a high energy raucous sound merging the heaviness of metal, earth-shaking hardcore breakdowns and the massive irresistible beats of electronic dance music that include elements of dub-step, hip-hop and house. As the group recently explained, “We play party music. It’s a mix of hard metal and dance music, not really hardcore, it’s more like party core.”

Epitaph Records is thrilled to announce the signing of Skip The Foreplay. Known for their distinct musical style, which mashes up elements of dubstep and house with pop and metal-core, the ground-breaking Montreal - based band has been electrifying audiences with their intoxicating blend of hardcore heaviness and dance floor energy since 2010. Skip The Foreplay will be releasing their anticipated full length Epitaph debut this spring.

"Aside from having one of the greatest names in history, Skip The Foreplay are simply Satan's delivery system for music of mass destruction," offers Epitaph founder and President Brett Gurewitz.

Skip The Foreplay made a serious impression on audiences while appearing with the likes of Hollywood Undead, Lamb Of God, NOFX, Alesana and more. The band will be joining up with rock n’ roll heavy hitter Ronnie Radke and Falling In Reverse for a tour this January and February before spending the summer on the road.
