Every Time I Die To Release New Album 'Ex Lives'

Buffalo’s magnificently brutal metallic punk ensemble Every Time I Die are set to unleash brand new album titled Ex Lives this March 6th via Epitaph Records. The new album was produced by renowned heavy rock producer Joe Baressi (The Melvins, Queens of the Stone Age, Parkway Drive) and offers an unrelenting onslaught of ingeniously composed and furiously executed cathartic hardcore.

This is the band’s highly anticipated follow up to 2009’s raging masterwork New Junk Aesthetic which Absolute Punk heralded as a musical “weapon of mass destruction” and Allmusic.com described as “the group further refining its signature approach with a new sonic clarity - energized and passionate, delivering its blend of old and new sounds with a directness that gives the ferocious music an unusually broad appeal.”

Every Time I Die’s new album Ex Lives is currently available for pre-order at: Ex-Lives.com.

You can now watch a video for the song “Underwater Bimbos From Outer Space” from the new album. The powerful clip was directed by the band’s vocalist and lyricist Keith Buckley and features a barrage of startling visceral images which perfectly match the raging brutality of the track. As Buckley explains, “In order to write lyrics I had to pay attention to the defeatism that the music suggested. To compile this video I had to acknowledge the masochism I wrote of to myself. You don’t get rewarded for your faith and you don’t get celebrated for your heroism. Just when you find yourself attached, you have lost it. Everything is borrowed. C'est la vie.”

To see the video for “Underwater Bimbos From Outer Space” just go here.
Acclaim for Every Time I Die’s live act:

“Then came Every Time I Die to take the crowd over like a category 5 hurricane; staring with the song We’rewolf. Anyone who has heard Every Time I Die knows that they have a raw and aggressive sound that is as heavy as it is catchy, and they leave nothing out for their live shows. Working off the crowds enthusiasm, Every Time I Die had a vigor to their presence that was unmatched by any band I’ve ever seen.” – The Punksite

“When the fans shouting the lyrics are louder than the screaming vocalist with the microphone and massive PA system backing him up, you know there’s some serious energy being circulated through the venue… ETID had everyone from the pit to the front row white hot frenzy, and they kept pouring on the fuel for the rest of the night.” - CWG Magazine
Buffalo, New York’s hard rock act Every Time I Die will be taking their beloved brand of punk infused metal mayhem on the road when they join barbaric monster rockers GWAR for what is sure to be the most brutal tour of North America this year. Prior to that colossal pairing, ETID will be traversing Australia and Asia. They finish the year with a blistering booze soaked charge across Great Britain.

The notorious road warriors are currently hunkered down in a Southern Californian studio, recording their highly anticipated, yet untitled follow up to 2009’s raging New Junk Aesthetic which Absolute Punk heralded as a musical “weapon of mass destruction.” The new album is being produced by renowned heavy rock producer Joe Baressi (The Melvins, Queens of the Stone Age, Parkway Drive).

Their killer set at Soundwave has obviously converted many to their brand of raucous punk ‘n’ roll and the crowd went bananas. It was over all too soon with a sweaty stage invasion and a room full of satisfied punters. – Blunt Magazine
Every Time I Die Get "Sh*tty" In New Web Series

Buffalo, New York's favorite party dudes Every Time I Die have officially announced the release of a new weekly episodic series entitled “Sh*t Happens: The Series?”. This latest endeavor into international debauchery finds the boys again teamed up with Space Monkey Studios to bring you the finest in unapologetic tomfoolery. “The Series?” will premiere with a recap of their previous releases (including cult classic “Sh*t Happens”, “Party Poopers” and “The Dudes and Don’ts of Recording”) on July 14, while the first full episode will air on July 28. Fans can stream the series’ theme song now at www.vans.com/ETID.

Over the next 12 weeks, Every Time I Die will unveil episodes that are packed to the gills with impromptu footage showcasing the band’s signature brand of humor that has made them infamous amongst their fans and peers alike. This is by no means a scripted reality show containing foreseeable plot twists and over-dramatic story arches. Nor is this your typical live band DVD that focuses on the tedium of tracking a record or the self-congratulatory tales of what inspired their lyrics. Instead, “The Series?” focuses on what it is exactly that drives 5 individuals from similar backgrounds to forfeit family and friends and take to the road year after year for the sake of their craft. Whether you’re a fan of music or simply an admirer of the nomadic spirit that resides in all of us, “Sh*t Happens: The Series?” will make you feel at home.

“We never set out to be funny on camera,” says guitarist Jordan Buckley. “We set out to make good music and make people come to our shows. This is like a spinoff. This is the “Empty Nest” to our “Golden Girls.”

“This isn’t like a concert,” adds bassist Josh Newton. “It’s us being idiots.”

Every Time I Die Embark On Conquest Of America

Venerated metal road warriors Every Time I Die will be taking their mayhem inciting sound on tour, entertaining their rabid fan base along with Southern metal cohorts Norma Jean and Canadian punk-core Cancer Bats. Every Time I Die promise a monstrous set of crowd rousing favorites including songs from their latest masterwork New Junk Aesthetic, of which Art Voice magazine said “(the album) is a storming barrage of the band’s serpentine, tear-the-house-apart riffing, and their speeding, start/stop histrionics remain at the surface. But a deeper listen to this hike into the heavy reveals the band’s hardest and most focused effort to date.” Tickets for this delightfully raucous affair are on-sale this Wednesday April 7th.

Praise for Every Time I Die’s live Show:

“When the fans shouting the lyrics are louder than the screaming vocalist with the microphone and massive PA system backing him up, you know there’s some serious energy being circulated through the venue… ETID had everyone from the pit to the front row white hot frenzy, and they kept pouring on the fuel for the rest of the night.” - CWG Magazine

“Then came Every Time I Die to take the crowd over like a category 5 hurricane; staring with the song We’rewolf. Anyone who has heard Every Time I Die knows that they have a raw and aggressive sound that is as heavy as it is catchy, and they leave nothing out for their live shows. Working off the crowds enthusiasm, Every Time I Die had a vigor to their presence that was unmatched by any band I’ve ever seen.” – ThePunksite.com

Their killer set at Soundwave has obviously converted many to their brand of raucous punk ‘n’ roll and the crowd went bananas. It was over all too soon with a sweaty stage invasion and a room full of satisfied punters. – Blunt Magazine

Every Time I Die Takes It To The Pit With New Video and Tour

Buffalo's riotous rock group Every Time I Die have unveiled a sweat drenched, whisky soaked new video for "After One Quarter of a Revolution" from their recently released album, New Junk Aesthetic. Compiled of clips from an insanely ferocious show at The White Rabbit in San Antonio, TX, the video is a two minute ripper of stage dives and face melting shredding that will make fans salivate to see them live and pick up the album.

"After One Quarter of a Revolution" is the latest video from the band's blazing hot new album, which has been considered by many critics and fans as their best release in years. "New Junk Aesthetic is the most complete Every Time I Die album yet. It's the kind of album that will maintain lifelong fans, gain new fans and win back the fans that may have thought ETID had fallen off their game. The truth is Every Time I Die has never sounded better, and New Junk Aesthetic, musically speaking, should be classified as a weapon of mass destruction," (Absolutepunk.net).
