Every Time I Die's Keith Buckley Teams Up With Harley-Davidson For So Cal ETID Bike Run

In celebration of their forthcoming album, New Junk Aesthetic (out Sept 15), Every Time I Die wants you to "whip out your hog" and ride along with frontman Keith Buckley from Los Angeles to San Diego then from San Diego back up to Pomona on the “Easy Tigers In Denim” bike run on Sept 18.

ETID is asking fans with motorcycles to show up with to Epitaph's parking lot at 11:00 AM PT on Friday, September 18 on their motorcycle and join Keith as he hits the road on a Harley-Davidson Iron 883 TM motorcycle down to San Diego (about a 2+ hour drive) for the band’s show at SOMA (taking part in the ride does not mean you get a free ticket to the show). After the show, ETID will be staying at a KOA in Chula Vista, about 20 miles outside of San Diego, and the following morning everyone will ride back up to Pomona. Participating fans will have the opportunity to hang out with Keith and the band as well as be part of the video footage for the next ETID full length DVD. Limited edition "Easy Tigers In Denim" Tee-shirts will be available on a first come, first serve basis.

“Having an opportunity to travel through California the way God intended is something I've dreamt of doing ever since I was a teenager when I read Jack Kerouac and wrote awful poetry,” says Keith Buckley. “Now with the help of Harley-Davidson, my band, Space Monkey Studios and hopefully a good amount of fellow riders looking to recapture the human spirit that was unforgivingly crushed beneath the weight of adult responsibilities, it’s all actually happening. The bike run celebrates the release of ETID’s fifth studio album, New Junk Aesthetic, which will be released on Sept 15, and upcoming US tour with labelmates Bring Me The Horizon.

Buffalo’s hardest rocking band, Every Time I Die, have unveiled a down-n-dirty, art-infused video for the band’s first single, “Wanderlust,” from their forthcoming album, New Junk Aesthetic, which is due out Sept. 15.

Helmed by visionary director Chris Sims (Staind, Norma Jean, Lamb of God), “Wanderlust” is a mind trip set in a dimly lit hotel, where singer Keith Buckley walks along an eerie corridor, opening doorways only to discover the band’s grotesque album artwork, drawn by guitarist Jordan Buckley, has it come to life.

“Wanderlust” is featured on Every Time I Die’s fifth studio album, New Junk Aesthetic, first with their new label Epitaph Records, and is due out on Sept. 15. The band will be co-headlining the upcoming Epitaph Tour with labelmates Bring Me The Horizon beginning in September.

Every Time I Die Announce 'New Junk Aesthetic' Deluxe Edition Out Sept 15; Pre-Order Starts Today!

In anticipation of their new album, hard rockers Every Time I Die have announced plans to release a "Deluxe Edition" of their forthcoming album New Junk Aesthetic on Sept 15. The expanded edition of the album features two bonus songs and a DVD entitled "Party Pooper." Pre-orders for the standard CD and "Deluxe Edition" CD/DVD will begin on August 11 HERE

New Junk Aesthetic's "Deluxe Edition" will include the bonus tracks "Buffalo 666" and "Goddam Kids These Days," as well as ETID's latest addition to their excrementally themed DVD series called "Party Pooper," which features outrageously funny studio and tour footage spanning two continents and providing hours of non-stop laughter. Every Time I Die Have A 'New Junk Aesthetic' On Sept 15

Hardcore-rock band Every Time I Die announce new album and fall tour

July 14, 2009 – Los Angeles, CA. – Warning: an excess of blood, sweat and beers were spilled during the making of 2009's most anticipated hardcore-rock album, Every Time I Die's New Junk Aesthetic, out Sept 15 via Epitaph. Thankfully the band has emerged relatively unscathed and more than ready to rouse the hellion legions with their most brutally delectable record yet, and all in time for their upcoming fall "Epitaph Presents" tour.

While there's no exact science to the resulting madness that is ETID's signature blend of turned-to-eleven hardcore mixed with southern-fried metal, over the last decade the band has consistently produced fan-favorite releases from albums Big Dirty to Hot Damn!, with New Junk Aesthetic as icing on the proverbial metallic cake.

"New Junk Aesthetic is not the next logical step in the progression of Every Time I Die," explains front-man Keith Buckley. "It is an evolutionary leap. It's as if we have morphed from a single-celled bacteria straight to the guy with the dirt bike that will let you watch his older sister suntan if you steal him a smoke from your parents. Certainly you may acknowledge similarities, but on a grand scale, they stand light years apart."

Maniacal, convulsive and completely unpredictable are but a few words that come to mind when listening to New Junk Aesthetic. With Big Dirty producer Steve Evetts at the helm again, ETID set out to corrupt souls and bring fans to their knees with an orchestrated chaos of their heaviest most skillful album.

Like the calm before a storm, New Junk Aesthetic opens with the metal-gazer, doom-ridden track "Roman Holiday," and then quickly segues like a sucker-punch into the thrashing first single, "The Marvelous Slut" (featuring guest vocals from Greg Puciato of Dillinger Escape Plan), which sets the tone for the remainder of the album. ETID continues to raise the bar on all fronts, from Andy Williams and Jordan Buckley's one-two punch on guitars to Josh Newton's brutish bass rumblings on "For The Record" and Keith Buckley's stunning vocal range as showcased in the standout thunderous-rock anthem "Wanderlust." On the pit-swirler "The Sweet Life, Keith belts out "ain't nothing gonna break my stride - ain't nothing gonna slow me down,"," which features guest vocals from Matt Caughthran (The Bronx), and pretty much sums up the relentless energy of the band and new album.

As visually stunning as they are musically, guitarist Jordan Buckley has been the artistic force behind the ETID's graphics. The astonishing cover imagery of New Junk Aesthetic features a mythological god covering his eyes with see-through hands and each song is represented by its own unique artwork.

"Aside from contributing to the creation of the 13 greatest Every Time I Die songs ever written, New Junk Aesthetic will also contain almost 40 pages of my hand rendered illustrations, that, for the first time ever, offer visual insight into the genius lyrics that ETID fans have come to expect from my brother and bandmate Keith," explains guitarist Jordan Buckley. Epitaph and Every Time I Die Make It Official

Epitaph Records is proud to confirm the worst kept secret of 2009, the signing of one of hardcore-rock's most notorious bands Every Time I Die. With the ink on the contract barely dry, the band is eager to enter the studio this spring to record their debut for the label, which is expected for release this fall.

Buckley along with founding members Jordan Buckley (guitar), Andy Williams (guitar), Mike Novak and newcomer Josh Newton (bass) have been slinging their nasty brand of southern rock infused, sweat drenched metal for the past decade, releasing classic hardcore albums like Gutter Phenomenon, Hot Damn! and Big Dirty and touring the world over multiple times.

"Their brazenly original amalgam of rock ‘n roll and ironic aesthetics always reminds me of LA's dangerous, burgeoning hardcore scene I grew up in," adds Epitaph owner Brett Gurewitz.
