Emerging melodic-metal group Our Last Night will be playing a series of dates in support of their recent album, the thunderous We Will All Evolve. As the title suggests, the young New Hampshire quintet has gone through their own sonic evolution, honing their thunderous melodic sound into one of the scene’s most exhilarating records of 2010. Produced by Andrew Wade (A Day To Remember, Versa Emerge) and mixed by David Bendeth (Breaking Benjamin, Paramore, Set Your Goals), We Will All Evolve virtually explodes with an infectious mix of breakneck-metal and soaring impassioned melodic choruses. In anticipation of the release of their new album, We Will All Evolve, on May 4, melodic-metal group Our Last Night has launched a unique, fan-generated contest for a chance to perform live on stage with the band. Watch the announcement video for details here.

Using the steps below, fans are invited to upload videos of them covering Our Last Night's new single, "Elephants," on either guitar or vocals to Youtube. A winner will be selected from total views, user ratings and band votes to perform vocals or guitar at a local show on the band's upcoming tour (dates listed below).

Epitaph & ANTI Join Forces To Commemorate Record Store Day

We here at Anti-/Epitaph Records are pleased to lend our enthusiastic support to the April 17th celebration known as Record Store Day. The purpose of this annual commemoration is to emphasize the unique and vital culture surrounding independently owned record stores. As Anti artist Tom Waits says,

"Folks who work here are professors
Don't replace all the knowers with guessers
Keep ‘em open
They're the ears of the town"

In order to increase awareness of the importance of these bastions of excellent and otherwise hard to find music, there will be special releases, in-store appearances and other forms of celebrations. And as a token of our heartfelt appreciation, Anti/Epitaph Records would like to contribute with appearances and performances from some of our most exciting artists, and a handful of Record Store Day exclusive releases.

Rising melodic-metal group Our Last Night make a thunderous return with the release of their sophomore album, We Will All Evolve, due out May 4 via Epitaph Records. Fans can check out the first track from the album, “Elephants,” streaming now on their MySpace page.

Like the album’s title suggests, the New Hampshire quintet have gone through their own evolution over the past few years. Transforming into a tightly knit group and honing their craft of striking technicality, crushing metal-laden riffs and catchy melodic choruses, Our Last night have emerged with one of the scene’s most impactful records of 2010.
