The tour, which starts in Madrid on June 4th and ends in London on July 8th, will include club shows as well as appearances at the major festivals like Hurricane & Southside (Germany), East Coast Riot (Sweden), Roskilde (Denmark) and Werchter (Belgium), to mention a few.<br />  <br /> The 2009 Summer run will be the first European tour in three years for the legendary band. <i>"The band and I love playing Europe"</i>, says Mike Ness, <i>"We've only been over a couple times, but we have always had a loyal fan base throughout Europe that just keeps growing. We are really looking forward to coming back and this time we are coming back feeling better about being Americans - if you know what I mean!"</i><br />  <br /> Social Distortion is currently writing with plans to record a new album, due for release sometime in 2010.
