Australia's top metal/hardcore act Parkway Drive will launch a US excursion in January with Killswitch Engage, Every Time I Die and Dillinger Escape Plan. Hailing from the quaint town of Byron Bay, the group is making waves across the world with their monstrous sophomore album, Horizons, which debuted at #1 on the Australian Artist Chart.

Produced by Killswitch Engage guitarist Adam Dutkiewicz (Underoath, Every Time I Die), Horizons spawns a frenetic avalanche of sound with grinding math riffs, palpitating blast beats and haunting death growls. From the blistering machine gun blasts of their hit song "Boneyards" to the sledgehammer riffs of "Carrion," Horizons takes the prize as the most cataclysmic metalcore album of 2007.

Parkway Drive's HORIZONS tops the charts!

Parkway Drive's brand new album "Horizons" has debuted at #6 on the ARIA chart , #1 on the Australian Artist chart and # 1 on the Independent chart, this being the highest placed ARIA position for any Resist artist and also for Parkway Drive.

Hailed as one of Kerrang! Magazine's hot new bands to watch in 2007, the year has been the bands most successful to date. Commencing the year with an appearance at Brisbane and Sydney's Soundwave Festival, before crisscrossing North America, Europe and Japan, a 31-date stint on the 2007 US Vans Warped Tour being just one of the many highlights.

To coincide with the release of Horizons, the band hit the road for what was their first Australian tour this year, resulting with all shows on the tour selling out.

Aussie metalcore regime Parkway Drive has announced that they are heading to the studio in May to record their follow-up to 2005's Killing With A Smile. Teaming up again with their producer-in-crime, Killswitch Engage guitarist Adam Dutkiewicz, the band will record at Zing Studios in Boston.

Combining elements of hardcore, death and math-metal, Parkway Drive plan to punish fans with their cyclonic rhythms, intricate dexterity and ire filled vocals for a sonic whirlwind of bone-crushing brutality that will hijack your stereo for one of the greatest pit-inducing records of the year.

Fans can expect a heavier, faster and more precise album than Killing With A Smile, proclaims frontman Winston McCall. The new songs mark two years of intense touring, refinement and experience. The songs we are writing are the next step for us. We're simply putting them out there for people to make of them what they will, but rest assured as far as we are concerned this is the album we have always wanted to write.

Currently on a US tour with Comeback Kid, It Dies Today, This Is Hell and Endwell, Parkway Drive will be distributing their destruction upon the masses this summer with a tour of Europe and Japan followed by select dates on the Vans Warped Tour. Prepare to be assaulted!
