The Menzingers Stream New Album At Spin

Philly punk band The Menzingers are streaming their newest release, Rented World, via SPIN. Listen to the full album here. Rented World is out April 22 on Epitaph and can be pre-ordered at The Menzingers Store.

Rented World is the band's follow-up to their 2012 release On The Impossible Past. Though it's still very much a Menzingers album, the band treated this album a little differently enlisted Jon Low with Miner Street Studio to engineer the material. Low, known for his work with indie Americana artists like Sharon Van Etten, The National, and Kurt Vile helped The Menzingers push their boundaries to create Rented World that is 12 tracks of memorable hooks, sentimental lyrics, and fiery heart. Pitchfork calls The Menzingers's sound "earnest melodic punk with just enough Replacements-esque recklessness." It's blithely straightforward and excruciatingly passionate," according to Stereogum. And according to Noisey, Rented World is "gonna be one of the best records of the year."
