The Menzingers Announce US Tour Support

In support of their forthcoming album Rented World, out April 22 on Epitaph, The Menzingers will embark on a US headlining tour this summer. The band is pleased to announce Lemuria, PUP, and Cayetana as support. Tickets are on sale now at TheMenzingers.com.

Rented World is the Philly band's follow-up to their 2012 release On The Impossible Past. Though it's still very much a Menzingers album, the band treated this one a little differently and enlisted Jon Low at Miner Street Studio to engineer the material. Low, known for his work with indie Americana artists like Sharon Van Etten, The National, and Kurt Vile, helped The Menzingers push their boundaries on Rented World. The end result is 12 memorable tracks with sentimental lyrics and fiery heart.

Tour supporting acts are Buffalo rock band Lemuria and fellow Philly punks Cayetana. The Toronto-based PUP also joins the bill and will release their debut album April 8 on SideOne Dummy.

Listen to The Menzingers's own "I Don't Wanna Be An Asshole Anymore", the latest cut from Rented World href="https://soundcloud.com/epitaph-records/the-menzingers-i-dont-wanna-be/s-pCGbX">here>.

Pitchfork calls The Menzingers's sound "earnest melodic punk with just enough Replacements-esque recklessness." And according to Noisey, Rented World is "gonna be one of the best records of the year." Fans are invited to pre-order the album now by visiting
