SOCIAL DISTORTION ANNOUNCE EUROPEAN TOUR
Rock'n'Roll legends Social Distortion have announced the dates of their European tour, set to take place in summer 2009. The tour, which starts in Madrid on June 4th and ends in London on July 8th, will include club shows as well as appearances at the major festivals like Hurricane & Southside (Germany), East Coast Riot (Sweden), Roskilde (Denmark) and Werchter (Belgium), to mention a few.
The 2009 Summer run will be the first European tour in three years for the legendary band. "The band and I love playing Europe", says Mike Ness, "We've only been over a couple times, but we have always had a loyal fan base throughout Europe that just keeps growing. We are really looking forward to coming back and this time we are coming back feeling better about being Americans - if you know what I mean!"
Social Distortion is currently writing with plans to record a new album, due for release sometime in 2010. The bands first-ever career spanning collection Greatest Hits is out now through Time Bomb Recordings/Epitaph Records.
