PARKWAY DRIVE CONFIRM JANUARY TOUR WITH KILLSWITCH ENGAGE
Australia's top metal/hardcore act Parkway Drive will launch a US excursion in January with Killswitch Engage, Every Time I Die and Dillinger Escape Plan. Hailing from the quaint town of Byron Bay, the group is making waves across the world with their monstrous sophomore album, Horizons, which debuted at #1 on the Australian Artist Chart.
"Parkway Drive don't sacrifice heaviness in order to appeal to a wider audience - they simply make heaviness more appealing." - Rolling Stone (Australia)
Produced by Killswitch Engage guitarist Adam Dutkiewicz (Underoath, Every Time I Die), Horizons spawns a frenetic avalanche of sound with grinding math riffs, palpitating blast beats and haunting death growls. From the blistering machine gun blasts of their hit song "Boneyards" to the sledgehammer riffs of "Carrion," Horizons takes the prize as the most cataclysmic metalcore album of 2007.
"If You're looking for exquisitely executed, technically awesome, frantic noodlage paired with chuggy guitars, sprinting drums and demon hellspawn vocals, this is one for you." Kerrang! (UK)
The Aussie natives slayed fans over the summer with a run on the Van's Warped Tour and marched on Europe with Comeback Kid and Cancer Bats this past fall. Now Parkway Drive is returning to cause chaos again. Fair warning, this isn't your brother's metal!
