The Robocop Kraus ready to frop their U.S. debut in February 21st!
(Epitaph, Los Angeles, CA) Following the success of THE ROBOCOP KRAUS and their latest release – They Think They Are The Robocop Kraus – in Germany and greater Europe, the band was awarded a worldwide deal by Epitaph in late 2005.
Deeply rooted in the indie and post-punk traditions with the energy and vibes of 80’s new wave and pop, They Think They Are The Robocop Kraus is an incredibly accomplished album that is also an extremely fun listen. Recorded in Stockholm, Sweden in February of 2005, the album is a blazing torrent of catchy-as-hell riffs, infectious vocals and super contagious rhythms.
Produced by Pelle Gunnerfeldt (The Hives, The (International) Noise Conspiracy, Sahara Hotnights), They Think They Are The Robocop Kraus features an interesting blend of warmth and sharpness that truly brings out the details of the album this band has so tediously crafted.
In addition to positive fan reaction, the album has also seen an impressive amount of good press from major publications like KERRANG, Uncut, Guitar Magazine and more! NME calls it, “…inspirational, idea-packed, German post-punk!” and Rocksound states, “This is the most endearingly, quirky pop you’ll hear all year – oddballs, fashionistas and trendsetters alike!”
Following the worldwide release of They Think They Are The Robocop Kraus, the band is sure to hit the support route and tour extensively, but details are still to be announced.
