The Robocop Kraus sign deal with Epitaph & ready new release

Epitaph welcomes The Robocop Kraus to the label as they ready their new European release; the following was the band's official presss release posted on their website:

"The Robocop Kraus have just signed a worldwide deal with Epitaph. The new album by the Nuremberg based quintet will be released in Germany on June 20th on L'Age D'Or/Epitaph, followed by a European wide release on September 5th 2005. The album, titled 'They Think They Are The Robocop Kraus', was recorded in February of this year in Stockholm and produced by Pelle Gunnerfeldt (The Hives, The (International) Noise Conspiracy, Sahara Hotnights). The album will be preceded by the first single and video 'In fact you're just fiction'.

The Robocop Kraus have been around in different shapes and forms for the last 10 years. In 2003, with the release of the previous album 'Living With Other People' (L'Age D'Or), the band managed to get serious foot on the ground around Europe with their unique blend of punk, post punk and new wave. The new album They Think They Are The Robocop Kraus proves that the band's innovative skills and songwriting abilities leave them head and shoulders above the fads and fashions of the current post punk -- or any -- revival.

The band has toured extensively in Europe, the US and Japan in the past and will be back on the road for this year's European festival season, followed by a European club tour in the 2nd half of 2005."
