part 3.

and finally
c. you are a moron. who cares where they got the reference? (i mean aside from you, which clearly shows so much class and amount of life worth you have) bands rip off of other bands all the time. if i cared to listen or even think about listening to gang of four, i am sure i could find some rip off. it happens. move on. and quit existing.

b.

b. possibly you should consider that epitaph (or any other label for that matter) is interested in diversity of bands among their label. (sort of like at a grocery store when they have more than one variety of cake mix.)

a. there is no need for ripping on a band, whether they suck or not. you clearly have too much time on your hands since you are obvzz stalking this message board to respond with anger punk banter. you should probz go back to taking the studs off your craptastic jacket or shaving your head or whatever you do.

GangOfFour

That's not how music works - The Rolling Stones didn't "steal" their name from an actualy rolling stone. Bands are named after things. Like how Settle is named after what you're doing as a fan.

And if these posers haven't heard of Gang of Four they need to go back to rock school.

Anyway - I'm going to go back to never thinking about Epitaph bands.

p.s. that's DOCTOR Junior to you, friendo--and, I assure you, I do not teach at the Art Institute. There is no WAY they would hire me.

In conclusion, either they are purposely referring to that song so that people in the know--like you--will better understand what they are trying to do with their first album, or the band, those rat bastards, have never heard of some obscure song title (even Google can't find anything about it!! So much for fame, let alone omniscience). After all, who expects to get away with copyright infringement in the age of information and obsessive music fans with nothing better to do than stalk band info?
