A Poet's Life, in stores now!

The Rancid Punx have a streak. It's been brought to my attention that since 2000, Rancid or members of , have put out a record every year.
Here's a break down of the past six years.

In 2000, there was Rancid V. In 2001, the release of Lars' solo record, Lars Frederiksen and The Bastards. 2002, The Transplants dropped our first album. Rancid's Indestructible was put out in 2003. Lars' second solo record, The Viking, was released in 2004. Travis, Rob, and I went back into the studio to work on the Transplants' 2nd album, Haunted Cities, which dropped in 2005.

This year 2006, we're going to keep the streak going. I've been in the studio, recording songs and decided to put them out as a solo record.
This album is going to be different from the rest, mainly because we're going to give it away for free on the internet. It's our way of saying thanks to everyone, for all the support ov...

Fucking good shit here.

This album is great, really good stuff. I love Into Action, think its one of the best tracks.

Its going for free on the net, on Tim's MySpace page and there were tracks on the Rancid MySpace page, and probably on Tim's site as well... I chose to buy it, I like to own the CDs I listen to not download the mp3.

And the DVD that comes with it is good, the videos are just typical Tim.

Looking forward to the new Rancid album as well, whenever that's out.

You Idiots this is genius

Some of you may be youngsters, some may not no the rich history between reggae music and punk. (study Clash Sandinista) It is freedom fighter music. This album is pure roots front to back. Tim is at his peak, lyrics and ryddims that put you on the dance floor. Into action is a ball buster, if you think it's predictable, get a life listening to new age music you retard. Accept this for what it is, a great new record from the master poet himself. I'm trying to keep the Agro-light.

Fuck yeah!

this album is great. Tim Armstrong and the Aggrolites have made amazing thing right here. And the videos are cool. thanks Tim. I hope some touring happens with this.

I like 3 of the songs, including "Hold On" and "Wake Up". but the rest are just kind of a miss for me. A little boring, a little bland and a little predictable. I really think that Tim could have done better. I am just not impressed. I just hope the next Rancid record is better than this.

The songs were available on Tim's myspace until a few days ago, except for the song Oh NO which is now available here on Epitaph.
Everyone had a chance to download those songs for free, if you missed it stop whining and go buy the album.
And it's a great album btw, good job Tim!

Tim seems to have a different understanding of the word 'free' than the dictionary has. The only way to get this album free, as promised, is over bit-torrent/e-mule/etc!
