Peculiar
The Slackers

Peculiar is full of great performances - some of it extremely danceable - and overall filled with catchy and at times provacative material. The Slackers have been involved in Reggae for years and they are able to handle the genre's many aspects. Individually each member brings their own eclectic musical influences into the band and folds them into each arrangement, from categories such as mento, ska, rude-boy music, new wave, folk and rocksteady.

I saw these guys kick off their tour supporting Peculiar on Friday nite in CBGB's. What a great band what a great show. One can not ask for a better party, their shows are never concerts they are more like fiestas of good vibes.
