Live At The Palladium DVD
Bad Religion

This DVD features explosive live footage shot over two nights at the famous Hollywood Palladium that has been condensed down to one spitfire performance! This DVD also contains extremely rare content such as an acoustic piano version of "Cease," in-depth interviews with all current band members discussing the bands formation, evolution and career. You'll also get never-before-seen live footage from the New Wave Theatre circa 1981-1983, a band photo gallery featuring new and vintage images of the bands, as well as a slew of music videos from the band!

Still...

I shall give you the benefit of doubt and think that you are still saving the best (interviews with every past and current members, backstage footage, rehearsals footage, Brett at his mansion footage, The Daredevils remaining tracks) for the definitive BR documentary triple-disc DVD to be released in a couple of years, not necessarily because you call it quits, mind you!

Dont get me wrong, DVD is perfect, but being such a non-conformist, I always want more when it's my favourite band.

I still think...

A multi camera-angle feature should have been a must and it would have avoided us, the more calm viewers, that frantic camera oscillating from stage to audience and back. I would have loved to watch the entire concert focusing on Brett (my favourite member, artist and overall hero) or Brooks, who doesn't appear much. Interviews with Bobby, Pete, Ziskrout, Dedona, etc. would have been interesting as well.

... daily Brett

Oh, yeah... There is indeed some chopping here and there, imperceptible to some eyes maybe, but I'm not the only one to have noticed this. And THANK YOU VERY MUCH for having included those awesome New Wave Theatre clips! Ever since Jay told me about them in the first MB, and being the collector freak that I am, I had been looking for that stuff to no avail. That is surely one of the big highlights of the DVD!

DVD arrived last Friday and so far so good. I'm watching it in sips to enjoy it more so I have only seen up too Change of Ideas. I liked the introduction a lot. I loved the fans testimonials. I find the band members' insights to be rather basic for the hardcore fan but I can understand that they might have wanted to cater for a larger audience and not just the BR freaks.

My family now hate Bad Religion. I've played that DVD so much that everyone in my house is sick of the band.
It'll be watching and listening for a long time to come. Keep up the good work

And Part 3...

(Sorry for posting like this, there's something wrong with the comment box)

More stuff to say....

The camera moved around a little too much - it should have focused more on the band and less on the audience.

Greg's solo performance of 'Cease' was really beautiful.

It was worth the wait. 2 years though...heh.
