Every winter, Vans sponsors an elite surfing contest on the North Shore of Oahu -- this DVD captures the exciting highlights of this 3-part contest, edited down to 60 taut minutes. The Triple Crown has already reached a wide audience through broadcast this December and January on FOX Sports Net, but fans will want to rewatch the intense highlights, including Sunny Garcia's cliffhanger victory,. The DVD also features 30 minutes of bonus features which go behind the scenes of the event and get into the personalities of legendary North Shore surfers, from Kelly Slater to Gerry Lopez. The release also includes a bonus full-length CD featuring music from some of Epitaph's biggest bands, from Pennywise to Dropkick Murphys.
