This retrospective look at the groups earliest recordings was originally released in 1994 and discontinued in 2004 in favor of the musically identical "How Could Hell Be Any Worse" which was re-issued in order to restore the packaging artwork and lyric sheet from the classic 1982 release.

80-85 contains 28 songs including Bad Religion's first full-length album, How Could Hell Be Any Worse, their first eponymous EP, as well as additional rare material all recorded in Los Angeles California between 1980 and 1985. The packaging which is now out of print contained classic photos of the band and liner notes by guitarist and ex-Circle Jerk, Greg Hetson

hell ya i was at this show back in that day that hose pictures were taken in the album.....i believe it was the Uranium culture center in Hollywood... cops tried to come in and stop the show by kicking everyone out! but nobody left and people were'nt leaving so they closed the doors and they keeped playing..which is also the first time i saw "BAD BRIANS" on this day....man they were fast!!!!! by the way i was only about 12 yrs old at the time but i was there!!!!! "I WAS THERE"!

I'm so glad I have this! Not to be a record geek but I love that this version is out of print and perhaps most of you don't have it! The way it was meant to be heard raw and unmastered!!!! ahahahaha
