"Live at Ernesto's" was recorded on March 8th and 9th in Sittard, the Netherlands. Sittard is a small town in the sounternmost corner of Holland. It is the home of a tall Dutch tequila-loving giant named Ernesto, who runs the best Mexican restaurant in Europe. Being a ska music loving giant, he hired the Slackers to play in a corner of his joint and invited all his giant friends to come watch...
...In a 2 day gig, we recorded over 2 sets plus encores. After several Mexican buffets, free access to the tequila ice machine, and 2 packed houses, the result was over 5 hours of sweat drenched, alcohol fueled, live slackers music...
...After much thought and deliberation, we have selected just over 1 hour of what we feel are the best moments from those 2 nights. It features songs from all 3 of our studio releases, "Better Late Than Never", "Red Light", and "The Question", all played in a raw direct slacker live style...
...So we bring the party to you! The Slackers! Live at Ernesto's
