Pennywise is the most important band in America. If you don't believe me, just ask me. Like mighty punk warriors, the hard-core Southern California band has battled its way to the top of the Warped heap by never doubting one simple conviction: Punk rock can change the world. On "Land Of The Free?" singer/songwriter Jim Lindberg - the Jack Kerouac of the punk movement - wears his poetic heart on his sleeve, mainlining accurate insights into the brains of America's youths to help them slay the real dragons (political hypocrisy, organized religion, bad cops, suicide, addiction).
